Willie’s Montana Honey Moonshine

Willie’s Montana Honey Moonshine captures the essence of a Montana spring, when the air is filled with the scent of apple blossoms and floating cottonwood. Made using a traditional sweet feed recipe of three whole grains and molasses, this moonshine is barrel-aged and sweetened with a touch of local honey, creating a balanced and approachable flavor.

Tied directly to the Madison River, each bottle features odes to world-class fly fishing, along with the flow rate and temperature of the river at the time of bottling.

TASTING NOTES

Nose
The honey is most present in the nose of this whiskey, which is to be expected, considering the name. The aroma is clear and shallow, devoid of alcoholic burn, with mild floral notes.

Palate
The flavor starts off smooth and almost imperceptibly light with the honey flavor from the nose joined by notes of caramel corn and magnolias. Surprisingly the honey doesnt mask the flavor of the moonshine, but actually brings out flavors otherwise hidden by more alcohol forward natural moonshine flavor.
