Savage & Cooke Guero 14 Year Old American Whiskey is an extraordinary, ultra-rare release that embodies both exceptional craftsmanship and a deeply personal story. With only 300 cases produced, this 14-year-old whiskey offers a singular experience, blending maturity, complexity, and a rich narrative that connects its maker to his roots.
The name “Guero” is a tribute to Savage & Cooke founder Dave Phinneys early days in winemaking. Given to him as a nickname by an all-Mexican crew during his first harvest, “Guero” translates to “light-skinned” and reflects the camaraderie, hard work, and cherished memories from that formative period of his life. This release pays homage to those experiences while showcasing the dedication and skill that have defined Daves journey.
Aged to perfection, this 14-year-old whiskey delivers a robust flavor profile that reflects its extensive maturation and careful crafting. With notes of toasted oak, caramel, and baking spices, layered with hints of vanilla and dried fruit, every sip reveals new dimensions of complexity and warmth.
