Over 80 years ago, Count Gaetano Marzotto revitalized an abandoned part of the Venetian countryside. In this region, where alpine rivers wind through sun-drenched hills on their way to the Mediterranean, he transformed the land into fertile farmlands and restored the centuries-old tradition of winemaking. This labor of love, named after his wife Margherita, was the beginning of Santa Margherita.

Since then, we’ve expanded to vineyards across Italy, from the Veneto to Tuscany, creating authentic wines that reflect deep tradition and regional character.
