Our passion for life and winemaking, more specifically the craft of blending, are key to the story of Upshot Wines. We believe that when we make time for the unexpected, we honor the enjoyment of life and celebration of everyday things. Our goal is a life well lived with passion, for everyone. The story of Upshot Wines starts at the end, with the outcome, or upshot. The wine is the result of growing season and the blending process which repeats every season. While this journey is similar year to year, it’s never exactly quite the same and can yield unexpected and fulfilling results. Every year and vintage is therefore precious and is both carefully considered and celebrated at every step from vine to wine. From growing and harvesting grapes to blending the various component varietals and all of the process in between, we are guided by intuition, craftsmanship and passion in making Upshot with the singular vision of it being enjoyed by all.
