Since 1909, when Angelo Righetti first earned a reputation as an outstanding winemaker, the family has focused on producing quality wines of distinction. Gianmaria and Giuseppe are the fourth generation of the Righetti family to carry on the family winemaking tradition. Gianmaria and Giuseppe’s father, Luigi, who is still active in the estate’s day-to-day operations, was the first in the family to consider production for consumers beyond the local market. Tasting Notes:
This wine is a deep ruby red in color. Its complex scents emphasize dried fruit, black cherry, sweet spices and almonds with a hint of anise on the nose. It has extremely rich flavors of dark and dried fruit that are elegant with a long, smooth finish and a lingering aftertaste.
