Winemaker Description

Near the ancient village of Suvereto, home to the majestic oaks that produce cork (sughero) on the ferrous hills of the Val di Cornia, looking out over the Tyrrhenian Sea: it is here, nestled in the spectacular nature of the Maremma region, that the magic of Petra emerges.

Merlot 55%, Cabernet Sauvignon 20%, Cabernet Franc 10% e Sangiovese 15%

Bright ruby red. On nose it reveals fresh aromas of black cherries, violets, blueberries, peonies, mineral hints and nuances of earthy shrub. The taste is fresh and pleasantly fruity, with gentle, well-tailored tannins.
