The story of Old Forester begins with a man named George Garvin Brown who first introduced Old Forester Bourbon in 1870. He also founded Brown-Forman, the only distillery to carry on producing bourbon continuously throughout both Prohibition and the Great Depression. Today, Old Forester is distilled, bottled and packaged entirely by hand at our distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. Were committed to upholding this tradition for years to come.

For the lover of American Whiskey, this smooth and reflective bourbon is made from a grain mixture of corn, rye, wheat and malted barley. To reach the smooth, satisfying flavor, Old Forester Whisky is aged for four years, offering up the smooth taste as you enjoy every drop in your glass.

TASTING NOTES

AROMA
Sharp and sweet, with a strong floral character that swirls with hints of mint, rich tobacco leaf and vanilla.

TASTE
A touch of oak and pine provides a strong underpinning. Sharp at first, but softens quickly, with hints of oak, sweet corn and rye grain character. Spicy, with soft vanilla and light orange notes.

FINISH
Long, warm and slightly drying. Nice level of sweetness.
