Winemaker Description

The Marsannay is sturdy and robust due to the rich iron-based soil. The wine has an intense bouquet of red fruit and a silky palate with a distinct gamey character and great tannic appeal.

The ripeness of the vintage is evident but not intrusive.There’st a little dustiness on the finish that’s far from unpleasant. A red burgundy that is attractively broad in the beam. The rich, delicious and vibrant middle weight flavors conclude in a rustic and somewhat raspy finish.
