Off-dry malted barley and light toffee smells greet the olfactory sense along with flowery fragrances of heather, rose petal and pine. Entry features sweet grain and candied apricot tastes; the midpalate is mellow, malty, fruity (white raisins, apricots) and sophisticated. Ends on a buttery note. Remains the Speyside benchmark.

The entry level bottling from the illustrious Glenlivet distillery at Speyside’s heart, aged for 12 years. The archetypal Speyside dram, honey and orchard fruit driven.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt:
The nose is full and rich. There is a sweet creamy vanilla with warm pastries and toffee, fudge notes and aniseed. A strong toasty cereal notes emerges with a touch of oak. The palate is quite thick and warm. There is a thick aniseed note with dried peels and fudge. The finish is long and warming.
