This exclusive whisky, known as Arrrrrrrdbeg!, has been matured entirely in ex-rye casks. On the nose, the aroma of gunpowder, smoked banana, and pear melds with notes of vanilla and rye. The palate is greeted with a spicy kick that ignites a burst of fruity flavors. An armada of aniseed gives way to smoked toffee and a faint hint of sourdough biscuits, and the long finish is marked by a gentle smoke that lingers on the palate.

Arrrrrrrdbeg! is the first whisky from our distillery to be matured solely in ex-rye casks, and it is exclusively available to members of the Ardbeg Committee starting February 1st.
