Sadly, in the old days relatively few paper records were kept and the closing date of this Distillery remains unclear. The current Loch Lomond Distillery was founded in 1964 by the former owners of the Little mill Distillery, in Bowling, a few miles up the road towards Glasgow. The clans of Scotland have survived for centuries and although belonging to a clan today is quite a different experience to the one you may have had 300 or 400 years ago, many of the traditional values and feelings are the same
Tasting Notes:
On the nose this Scotch begins with first impressions of dark, warm leather that builds into a more Highleand heathery character. These darker notes gradually give way to a sweeter malty presence. All of this aromatic richness concludes with lighter and more subtle wood notes on the close.
