Unique Agave Story:

While Chino and Alto are native to Michoacn, the Mexicano agave has an intriguing history. Don Miguel collected Agave rhodacantha seeds from Oaxaca decades ago, cultivating a sustainable supply on their Michoacn land, adding a distinctive touch to this blend.

Artisanal Production Process:

• Cooking: Traditional underground pit oven
• Milling: Ingenious mechanical shredder made from a 1978 Dotson car engine
• Fermentation: Open-air wild yeast in oak-lined earthen pits
• Distillation: Tarascan (Filipino) still
