FIRESTONE VYD MERLOT SANTA YNEZ 22

Founded in 1972, Firestone was the first major estate winery to sink roots in Santa Barbara County. The winery’s proximity to the Pacific Ocean, ensures a relatively mild and arid climate throughout the year. The moderate weather and complex, rocky soils make this a perfect setting for our 340 acres of Bordeaux, Rh ne and Burgundian varieties.

Tasting Notes:
Our Napa Valley Cabernet is a wonderful expression of the classic Bordeaux varietal as well as the terroir of the Napa Valley. The nose exhibits complex fruit aromas of plum, blackberry and a hint of strawberry, combined with brown sugar and forest floor. The aromas carry through to the palate of blackberry, dark chocolate and cocoa powder. Medium rich tannins are present with a long velvety finish.
