ADOBE ROAD APEX RED 19

Adobe Road is a Petaluma based boutique winery producing artisan wines from premium vineyards in both Sonoma and Napa counties. We maintain collaborative relationships with our growers and carefully select vineyard sites based on their suitability for particular varietals. Our wines are handcrafted in small lots with minimal intervention, including fermentation with native yeasts. We believe that these methods, combined with the distinctive nature of our vineyards, lead to expressive wines of the absolute highest quality.

Tasting Notes:
Apex is the pinnacle of our blends. Each year we aim to fully express the quality of the vintage by selecting the best lots from our cellar and bringing them together. For the 2018 Apex we focused on the areas of Dry Creek, Rockpile, and Knights Valley; showcasing the best Sonoma County has to offer. Apex pours a dark purple-black into the glass. Licorice, plumbs, wet stones and blackberries lead the way, with smoked meat and wild blueberries framed by medium-firm tannins. Very full bodied and super smooth. Apex is our best-of-the-best blend, and always delivers!
